GNESOG has started its fellowship on Minimal Access Surgery for its fellow in Nepal. For the first time, Dr. Suresh Kayastha, a gynecologist from Dhulikhel Hospital- Kathmandu University Hospital; Nepal visited to St. Vinzenz Hospital -Dinslaken from 15th October to 30th November, 2017.

This visit was arranged and sponsored by GNESOG as stated by Dr. Kayastha. According to him, there he stayed primarily at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the hospital with Dr. Bernhard Uhl and team. He got chance to learn not only about laparoscopy and hysteroscopy but also on gynecologic oncosurgery, urogynecology and urodynamic , radiofrequency ablation of uterine myoma and botox Injection in urinary bladder. Besides St. Vinzenz Hospital, he got chance to visit St. Franziskus-Hospital- Munster, Gynemunster-Munster, St Joseph hospital-Bonn and Christophorus hospital – Coesfeld where he could attain seminars and live demonstrations on laparoscopic lymphadenectomy, laparoscopic wertheim's hysterectomy and workshop on urinary incontinence. GNESOG is happy to help young doctors in Nepal and looks forward to help many more in coming days.
